What really sells produce? Much of it is impulse - brilliant colours displayed together, samples out for tasting, decent pricing, the offer of fresh crop or organics or a new and innovative produce item. Then you have price - and consumers will purchase on price if they don't perceive a different. Something else that comes into play - health concerns - with the boomers just moving up the line more people have awoken to the fact that everything you eat becomes part of you.

In each Canadian city one would be hard pressed not to find a farmer's market. This one is a nice mix of crafts, food and fresh produce. -
Jean Talon Market (22)
Another wonderful market in Montreal is the Jean Talon Market. Cramped full of delicious delights. -
Atwater Market Montreal (16)
What sells more produce? Excellent farmers market. The Atwater market in Montreal is small but it is a riot of colours - especially during later summer/early fall.
